Upon acquiring an iconic thermal springs site in the charming Swiss village of Midway, Utah, developer Charles Heath has embarked on a mission to create a singular residential well-being resort that could not be built anywhere else. He traveled the globe seeking extraordinary well-being experiences and best-in-class partners to realize his vision. Along his journey for inspiration, Chuck encountered Deepak Chopra and his team, leading to a legacy collaboration with The Chopra Foundation with the vision of creating a well-being and longevity community that fosters a transformational human experience.

Charles “Chuck” Heath is the former CEO and founder of Horizon Design. Founded in 1984, Horizon designs, builds, and manages a portfolio of commercial, retail, residential, industrial properties, and indoor water resorts. Under Chuck’s leadership, the Company has successfully developed properties valued at more than $500 million. Chuck is a past member and a former chairman of the Finance Committee of the National Council on Seniors Housing (NCOSH), an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB.) He has served on the Tax Credit Advisory Committee for the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) and has presented at the Multi-Housing World Conference, the NAHB, the American Association of Home and Services for the Aging (AAHSA,) and the World Waterpark Association. 

Chuck graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1983 with an MS in Real Estate Appraisal and Investment Analysis. Chuck’s most recent involvement has been with the Kings Crown Development at the base of Park City Mountain, a $75 million mixed-use ski-in ski-out development.

DEEPAK CHOPRA

DEEPAK CHOPRA MD, MD, FACP, FRCP is the founder of The Chopra Foundation, a non-profit entity for research on well-being and humanitarianism, and Chopra Global, a modern-day health company at the intersection of science and spirituality, is a world-renowned pioneer in integrative medicine and personal transformation. Chopra is a Clinical Professor of Family Medicine and Public Health at the University of California, San Diego, and serves as a senior scientist with Gallup Organization. TIME magazine has described Dr. Chopra as “one of their top 100 most influential people.”
